HVAC System Controls for Indoor Stadiums
Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) is the technology of indoor environmental comfort. Its goal is to provide thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air quality. HVAC is an important part of in-stadia environments, where safe and healthy climatic conditions are regulated with respect to temperature and humidity, using fresh air from outdoors.
There are many such indoor stadiums (about 10) in Mumbai, wherein Mitsubishi Electric FA system comprising of PLC, GOT, VFD etc. are used for adjusting / controlling Whether conditions ( Temperature & Humidity)
HMI provided along with system allows to set temperature and humidity of stadium

Features and Configuration
- Air handling units each having capacity of 25,500 cfm & each is connected to a 36TR capacity condensing unit having three independent circuits of 12TR capacity.
- Set point at Temp. 12 Deg. C & 70% RH Humidity.
- In case of Actual Humidity & Temp
- SET POINT Priority will given to the RH, in that case all Heaters will ON to control the RH.
- Also in this case if Temp goes beyond set point then compressor also start on one by one to achieve set temp. It means in this case both heaters & Compressors on at a time.
