Opeartion Philosophy

  • The MITSUBISHI PLC from the leading automation companies offer high performance, flexibility and advanced feature. Scanning time and maintenance time of the system is thus reduced by using PLC. Which lead to increase in production of bearings. The compactness required in the SHD grinding system is achieved by up-grading the present system with the MITSUBISHI PLC.
  • Absolute positioning upto 1 micron resolution
  • Specially designed for grinding Taper Roller Bearing With high precision & accuracy. Machine having Total 1 Axis, SSCNET III Servo system communication network is used.
  • Exiting H/W was MTC Controller and Disadvantages of MTC System are :

    A) The parts of the MTC system are outdated
    B) Fault detection is very difficult
    C) Downtime is very high
    D) Maintenance cost is high

Features

  • PID Control for % power control by controlling feed rate with reference to % power consumed by spindle motor
  • GAP Eliminator with better accuracy since analog modules are with high resolution and response time of servo is very high with high torque.
  • Fast operation cycle due to low scan time up to 5 ms. Cycle time can be reduced to 8 seconds depending on mechanical system used
  • Absolute positioning up to 1 micron resolution.
  • Due to high speed and high precision machining it is possible to rotate the spindle at higher RPM and feed the axis at higher feed rates, which is achieved at proper accuracy.
